This Thursday, July 13, begin the evening at 5:00 PM at the AAAA Theatre to receive maps of all of the participating locations as well as purchase your wrist band. Season's First Wine, Ale and Art Crawl!
Mark your calendars for Thursday, June 15 for this season's first Wine, Ale and Art Crawl hosted by Alexandria's Downtown Merchants Association!
Wine, Ale and Art Crawl is Thursday, June 15 from 5:00-7:30 pm.
Begin the evening at the AAAA theatre to purchase your wristband and then stroll through our historic downtown to enjoy local artists, musicians, and wine and ale samples.
Rain Did Not Dampen Art
The rain didn’t wash away the spirit of the Wine and Art Crawl! Participants gladly dodged raindrops on their way from one location to another and the event was an overall success with close to 200 participants and more than 20 locations featuring art exhibits!
At Past and Present Home Gallery we enjoyed samples provided by Third Street Brew House out of Coldspring, Minnesota while Paul Johnson demonstrated watercolor techniques he uses as instructor in the Communication Art & Design program at Alexandria Technical and Community College. Participants also got to register for door prizes as well as discover all three levels of one-of-a-kind antiques and vintage collectibles.
